How Sessions Work

Many clients do not need to choose a modality when booking.

All sessions are fully individualized and may integrate a range of therapeutic
approaches — including medical massage, myofascial therapy,
craniosacral work, manual lymphatic techniques,
and trauma-informed somatic bodywork.

Rather than following a fixed style of massage, treatment is
guided by assessment, your goals, and how your
body responds during the session.

For general therapeutic care, simply book Deep Tissue or Swedish
and the amount of time you would like
and the session will be tailored specifically to you.

SERVICES

Deep Tissue - Techniques to slowly melt through body tissue layer by layer to release chronic pain and tension

Swedish - Relaxation massage

Myofascial Release - A type of bodywork that feels like light pressure stretching to unwind the fascia that runs through all parts of the body

Manual Lymphatic Drainage - Bodywork technique for those experiencing swelling/lymphedema due to recent surgery (gender affirming, liposuction, lipo 360, BBL, and other cosmetic procedures etc), lymph node removal, strains/sprains, pregnancy, lymphatic blockage, kidney disease, cirrhosis, and heart failure. It is not appropriate for clients with untreated heart failure, blood clots, active infections, acute kidney failure, active bleeding, malignant cirrhosis, or other untreated malignancies.

Lymphatic Cupping - Cupping is a type of traditional Chinese practice using glass and/or silicone cups to lift tissue with suction rather than push down into it as with most other types of massage. This is combined with lymphatic work to enhance and complement both disciplines to reduce swelling and promote healing. It can be particularly helpful after surgical procedures, such as cosmetic surgery, liposuction, face-lift, facial feminization surgery etc.

Scar Tissue Mobilization - Techniques to help loosen and provide more ease of movement in scar tissue due to surgery, injuries, cesarean sections, and burns

TMJ Massage - Massage to ease TMJ dysfunction. It includes work both inside and outside the mouth with gloves, assisted stretching, head and neck work.

Reflexology - specialized foot massage

Craniosacral -  Very gentle work of the head, neck, spine, and associated areas that aids in headaches, migraines, neck pain, TMJ dysfunction, stress & trauma related holding patterns

Trauma Informed Somatic Bodywork - therapeutic massage grounded in an understanding of how stress and life experiences are stored in the body. Rather than forcing tissue change, this approach emphasizes safety, choice, and nervous system regulation.

Sessions are individualized and paced collaboratively. Clear communication, consent, and predictable structure are prioritized so clients can relax without bracing or performing. The focus is on reducing protective muscle guarding, supporting nervous system downregulation, and helping clients reconnect comfortably with their bodies.

This work can be especially supportive for people experiencing chronic tension, burnout, anxiety, persistent stress patterns, or those already engaged in therapy who want to integrate physical and emotional healing.

Pressure and techniques are always adapted to your comfort and capacity. The goal is not intensity — it is sustainable change. This modality is performed fully clothed.

Prenatal Massage - therapeutic bodywork designed to support the physical and nervous system changes that occur during pregnancy.

Sessions are tailored to each stage of pregnancy and focus on reducing common discomforts such as low back pain, hip tension, neck and shoulder strain, swelling, and general muscular fatigue. Positioning and bolstering are adjusted for safety and comfort.

This is not just a spa-style “pampering” session. It is thoughtful, supportive bodywork that helps ease physical stress, improve circulation, and provide a quiet reset during a time of significant change.

I work with clients during any stage of pregnancy. All prenatal sessions are performed in side-lying and/or reclined with appropriate bolsters and pillows for comfort.

Clinical Hypnosis & HypnoMassage - Hypnosis is a natural, deeply relaxed state of focused attention that most people experience every day — such as becoming absorbed in a book, driving on autopilot, or daydreaming.

In this state, the nervous system becomes more receptive to relaxation, pain modulation, and new patterns of response.

In my practice, clinical hypnosis is used as a body-focused adjunct therapy to support:

  • chronic pain relief

  • reduction of protective muscle tension

  • nervous system regulation

  • stress and anxiety reduction

  • improved relaxation and recovery

  • releasing persistent holding patterns

Hypnosis is not sleep, loss of control, or psychotherapy. Clients remain aware and in control throughout the process.

Sessions may be offered as:

Clinical Hypnosis (talk-based session)
or
Hypnossage, which integrates hypnosis with therapeutic bodywork to deepen relaxation and allow lasting physical change.

Hypnosis is used as a complementary approach and does not replace medical or mental health care. Clients with medical or psychological conditions should remain under appropriate professional supervision.
