Why Mentorship Exists

Massage therapy can be an isolating profession.

Many therapists practice without colleagues to consult, discuss cases with, or process difficult clinical situations. School prepares us to pass boards — but not always for the nuanced decisions we face in real practice.

Clinical mentorship offers a professional space to think through the work with another experienced therapist.

Who This Is For

This mentorship is for massage therapists who:

  • Want to strengthen clinical reasoning

  • Feel professionally isolated in solo practice

  • Need consultation around complex client presentations

  • Are navigating ethical gray areas or boundary questions

  • Want a thoughtful sounding board from a fellow clinician

  • Value reflection and professional integrity in their work

This is not business coaching and does not focus on marketing or practice growth strategies.

What We Can Work On

Clinical Reasoning

  • Assessment and treatment decision-making

  • When to treat, modify, or refer out

  • Working with chronic pain and complex cases

  • Avoiding routine-based treatment patterns

Ethical & Professional Questions

  • Scope of practice concerns

  • Boundary challenges

  • Dual relationships

  • Therapist responsibility vs client autonomy

  • Navigating uncertainty without losing confidence

Professional Isolation

  • Processing difficult sessions

  • Preventing burnout and compassion fatigue

  • Maintaining clinical integrity in real-world settings

  • Developing confidence in your professional judgment

What a Session Looks Like

Sessions are conversational, collaborative, and grounded in real clinical practice.

You may bring:

  • A current or past client case

  • A professional dilemma

  • Questions you haven’t had space to ask elsewhere

  • Situations that feel unclear or ethically complex

The goal is not to give you “the right answer,” but to help you strengthen your own clinical thinking.
